Mothballs.
I've not been feeling the blogging recently, and I'm off on holiday for a month, so consider this blog in a state of suspended animation.
It'll probably still be updated more regularly than Decline And Fall, though.

Is this the same sort of suspended animation they used on Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes in Demolition Man style? Will you return having inexplicably learnt how to knit, or kickbox?
I remember Decline and Fall. Whatever happened to that guy, anyway?
Part 2 of the most recent article is half-written, it's just....oh, the trauma. Plus I've been learning to knit.
It'll be worth it. The blog, not the knitting.
The problem that both Helen and Leon face is that they have lives, and people with lives don't blog. This is why I'm able to blog once a week without fail and never really talk about anything - if I had better things to do, like you all do, I'd be doing them.
Dark in here, isn't it?
Right, that's enough of a break. Get your clothes back on.
I don't think she's coming back.
Er...You haven't posted for nearly as long as me. Are you coming back or is your life far too exciting for this sort of frivolity nowadays?
I think it's time you got blogging again, partly because you write well and have an interesting life, but mostly because, being an egomaniac, I like to read your mentions of me!
By the way, the unpronounceable Ikea rug has now been replaced by the 77,000 rupee hand-knotted silk job I picked up in Delhi in '99.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
